A producer from NBC10’s Philly Live! contacted our ELA program, inviting one of our students to participate in a television news segment about the impact of Dr. Jeff Vinokur’s popular YouTube science program “Generation Genius” in the state. Dr. Jeff specifically requested St. Columba School seventh-grader Emily Morino (right), who interviewed him along with Seventh grader Emily LaRouche (left) for a feature story in the middle school’s magazine, SCS. On March 3, Philly Live! lifestyle and entertainment reporter Aunyea Lachelle interviewed Emily and Dr. Jeff for a segment scheduled to be broadcast on Thursday, April 8 at 11.45 a.m. A link to the interview will be posted on the school’s website.
