Give a Loud Cheer for All to Hear
Third Grader Mckenna Thomson cheers not just because she's always happy, but because she is on a cheer leading team. She and her team participated in a cheer leading competition in Hughesville, PA. They did well, but did not place. Overall, she and her team  did an excellent job especially since this was the first competition for every member of the team!

Third grader Saleah Shannon (left) and 5th grader Calyssa Shannon are white belts in the Goshin Dragons dojo located in Berwick. The Shannons just started their road down the martial arts road, but they say that they enjoy the focus and discipline that the martial arts brings to their minds and bodies.

Saint Columba students Chase Williams, Cael Williams, and Liam Berger are all smiles showing off their hard won Super Bowl Trophy. The boys are members of the CYFO C Team. The boys and the rest of their team went all the way this season winning the CYFO C Team Super Bowl. Congratulations boys, and way to represent our SCS family!

1st Grader Audrey Wallace
1st Grader Audrey Wallace is an active rider at Hidden Hollow Farm in Benton, PA, where her instructor Paula Hosking has been teaching her the art of equestrian since she was four (Yes, since Preschool!). Audrey loves riding Ditto (pictured here) and helping out at the stables. She said that one day she would like to compete in the Grand National Race!

8th Grader Sayre Kurecian competing at a vaulting championship held in Connecticut.  The competition was the last of the vaulting season. Sayre, who has been competing for five years, came in first place at this, the New England Halloween Fest Competition.

Fifth grader Brady Horan
Fifth grader Brady Horan plays football for the Bloomsburg Panthers team. He has many jobs on his team. His positions include Running Back,  Line Backer, Punter, Kicker, Punt Returner, Kick-Off Returner, and 2nd String Quarterback. He has been playing the game for four years, and his team is enjoying an 8-0 season. On the field, Brady wears number five on his jersey.

Emily and Lauren LaRouche - Irish Feis Competition
Fourth and Eight graders Emily and Lauren LaRouche competed in their first ever Irish Feis Competition. In this competition the girls danced in four different rounds. Emily won a 3rd and 4th place awards while her older sister Lauren won two 3rd and 6th place awards. They will continue to compete this school year with their next competition taking the LaRouche girls to Massachusetts.

First grader Kyran Horan is a first year football player. He is a Line Man and 2nd String Running Back for the Bloomsburg Panther team. Horan sports number 3 on his jersey. In the picture on the right, Kyran (on the quarterback's left) is waiting patiently for his quarterback to start the play.

Fifth grader Gracie Viars is very active student. She is involved in many scouting events with her Troop 300. In the first picture, Gracie is caving with her troop and the folks in Quest. The other two pictures feature Gracie and her equestrian life.  She has been riding for three years.

Eighth grader Faith Wittman - Lehigh River rapids
Eighth grader Faith Wittman challenged the Lehigh River rapids as she went on her first whitewater adventure. She battle class two rapids for over six hours. Faith and the other White Water Challengers group along with part of Faith's family launched from Jim Thorpe.
