St. Columba's middle school has come up big again in the annual Daughters of the American Revolution's essay contest. This year's essay topic was on the Pligrim's voyage to the "New World". Students had to place themselves on the Mayflower, the ship the Pilgrims used to get to North America, and after research, write an essay focusing on life on the Mayflower in 1620. Our winners are from left ot right: Mary Grace Duncan 8th grade, Erika Traupman 7th Grade, Anastasia Girton 5th Grade, Elise Ferdock 6th Grade, Emily LaRouche 6th Grade, and Maria Robinson 7th Grade.
