This year's Young Persons Concert was stirring in its patriotism. All the songs were written by American composers and helped the students appreciate these classic compositions. Of course, the entire concert had to begin with the Star Spangled Banner. The Bloomsburg University Orchestra performed it so well that everyone gave them a standing ovation. Before the concert, university students toured the audience discussing their instruments and the orchestra itself.
