St. Columba School recently lost one of its greatest volunteers, Mrs. Alicia Smiley. Mrs. Smiley dedicated a big chunk of her life to St. Columba School. She volunteered in the school cafeteria and spent much time with the students as well. Her family requested that our school observe her passing not by wearing black and mourning her, but to celebrate her life by wearing bright happy colors that would reflect her bright happy personality. Students also wore smiley stickers as part of the celebration of Mrs. Smiley and all she meant to our school. Pictured from is our Kindergarten class clebrating her special day.
