SCS Goes to the Historical Society Museum!

St. Columba School's 3rd and 4th grades received a special privilege courtesy of David Millard and the Columbia County Historical Society. That privilege was a sneak preview visit to the new Historical Society building and exhibits located in the old 1st National Bank building on 50 West Market Street. David Millard toured the students throughout the entire building from the main floor to the mezzanine to the basement. Every location was filled with the history of Columbia County. Artifacts currently on display include handcuffs from the Molly Maguire's trail, a grandfather clock from 1797, ancient sleds, dolls, tools, maps, and more. All telling the story of Bloomsburg and Columbia County. Follow the Columbia County Historical and Genealogical Society on Facebook.
