Chelsea Strub from Channel 16 news visited St. Columba School during our Catholic Schools Week. She spoke to the students about how she gathers the news, where she gets her stories, and what she uses to gather the news. She shared her "Check It Out with Chelsea" segments on Newswatch 16 as well. Chelsea also explained that often she has to get the story, write the story, and put it all together herself. Our students had many questions for her and she did her best to answer them all. Our second grade even challenged her to a Spelling Bee of sorts as they gave her words to spell from their Valentine's Spelling List. Chelsea is at the center with all our students.
