Continuing activities during the Discover Catholic Schools week at St. Columba: Students celebrated Veterans Day with a visit by a World War II armored jeep. The students were given a tour of the jeep and the important role it played for our soldiers during the war. This particular jeep had field modifications made by the men for extra protection. They added armor and dual bazookas. Students then were allowed to get inside and climb about the jeep.
