Mr. John Esslinger, a member of Columbia County Farm Bureau,sits in with our third graders. Every year they like to visit classrooms in Columbia County and read a book that helps students get a better understanding of agriculture. The book, The Day the Farmers Quit, was enjoyed by all. The story demostrated the impact farmers haver on our country and the world. Mr. Esslinger then did a fun-tivity based on farming after he read the book to the class.
