St. Columba's Middle School went to Emmitsburg , Maryland to visit Mt. St. Mary's University the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. This is an exact duplicate of the Grotto where the Holy Mother appeared to St. Bernadette in Lourdes. France. The students had the opportunity to collect Holy water from the stream that passes through the Grotto and participate in the Mass at the Grotto at the Glass Chapel. The students are standing in front of the massive statue of Mary.
