In 5th grade, Mr. Zeares' Science class learned about forces, motion, friction, gravity, air resistance, and aerodynamics. The students were in charge of building a track with supports using Hot Wheel track and K’Nex pieces. Students also had a choice of cars and had to hypothesize which car would go down the track the fastest and slowest based on its weight as well as shape. The students timed and recorded each cars’ performance to cross the finish line.
