St. Columba Schools 1st and 3rd graders teamed up to learn all about the celebrations of Mardi Gras and Carnival. Students read different books about these celebrations. They then went on a world tour starting in Louisiana then around the world looking at the countries that celebrate Carnival. Finally, the classes created their own masks to wear on Mardi Gras.
