As part of St. Columba School's Catholic Schools Week celebration, Jonathan Kruk, master storyteller in residence for the Archdiocese of New York, came to our school to regale our students with many stories. His first audience was our kindergarten through 4th graders. For them he told the stories of "Saints and Samaritans." These stories demonstrated the love and kindness of many saints including our patron St. Columba. For our middle school he told the story of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Here he delighted and thrilled our students with this classic tale of the headless horseman. He wore period clothing for this presentation and with gestures, voices, and great stories he made this event come alive.
