St. Columba School's student masses are every Friday. Well, Father Mowery during this student mass did something a little bit different. Father took the time and explained why the mass is said and done in the manner which all Catholic masses are said and done. He told us why the Book of the Gospel is processed in yet the book is not processed out. Also we learned why water is added to the wine before it is consecrated. It was fascinating to learn all about our mass which we sometimes take for granted.
