From Our Principal

From Our Principal

Happy Holidays to our families at St. Columba School,

I would like to extend my gratitude in having each of you taking the initiative in keeping our school safe on a daily basis.  Thank you for contacting our school office in regards to any health concerns your child may have had and continue to keep the best interest of our school in your hearts and prayers.

In doing so, for the best interest of our staff, students, and school community, St. Columba School will go virtual for one week, January 4th- January 8th. We will return to “in-person” learning on Monday, January 11, 2021.  More information will follow from your teachers.

I know you all want to do what is best for your children, families, and the school community. I know the best way I could keep our school continuing to be able to have the opportunity for “in-person” learning after the holidays would be to give everyone the time to follow all CDC guidelines of being quarantined for 10 days in order for your children to return safely to school. As a result, January 11, 2021 seems the best alternative in coming back safely for school to resume and remain open for the latter of the school year.

St. Columba staff and faculty wish you and your family a blessed Christmas, as well as a joyful, safe, and healthy New Year.

God bless and be safe,

Mr. Morisco

Principal

St. Columba School
